The Daily GlyphThe Mexican ministry in charge of the environment and natural resources has given the go ahead for the 210 meter tall La Yesca dam. It will be built on the Santiago River in the states of Jalisco and Nayarit. Other Mexican development and environmental groups continue to oppose it.
