Guate arrest in Salvadoran Murders

A Guatemalan policeman was arrested in the Peten, near the Mexican border, for involvement in the murder of three Salvadoran politicians in February. Four other policemen suspected of involvement had been arrested but killed days later in maximum security prison. One policeman remains a fugitive.

New High Resolution Usumacinta


Google Earth has updated a portion of the Usumacinta River area since last I looked. The area of San Jose canyon, through Boca del Cerro and beyond, now has stunning detail. A good tool for rafters, conservationists and smugglers alike.
